The Institute of Problems of Mathematical Machines and Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

announces the enrolment for the post-graduate course / the course for getting a Doctor's degree on a competitive basis in such specialized fields:

    - 01.05.02-mathematical simulation and computing methods; 
   - 01.05.03-computer and system mathematical support and software (physics and mathematics and technical fields); 
   - 05.13.05-computer systems and components; 
   - 05.13.06-informational technologies;
   - 05.13.23-systems and computers methods of artificial intelligence.

  The post-graduate course has two forms of education: in isolation from the work and without giving up the work.
  The course for getting a Doctor's degree is studied in isolation from the work only. 

Entrance Examinations:

  the spring enrolment - May;
  the autumn enrolment - September.

To enter the post-graduate course it is necessary to present the following documents:

• application about enrolment for the post-graduate course, addressed to the name of the IPMMS NAS of Ukraine Director according to the address;
• list of the published works and inventions; the persons having no published works and inventions, present their scientific reports (synopses) in accordance with the selected scientific specialization;
• copy of the diploma on graduating from the institute of higher education together with copy of the inset (i.e. examination register);
• certificates of the minimum requirements for PhD degree;
• reference;
• biographical particulars of a worker;
• medical information about the state of health in due form № 286-у;
• autobiography;
• 4 photos of 3x4 cm size;
• folder.

To enter the course for getting a Doctor's degree it is necessary to present the following documents:

• application about enrolment to the course for getting a Doctor's degree, addressed to the name of the IPMMS NAS of Ukraine Director according to the address;
• DhP degree diploma copy;
• research worker form;
• autobiography;
• medical information about the state of health in due form № 286-у;
• 4 photographs of 3x4 cm size;
• folder;
• list of the published scientific works;
• testimonial about the scientific activities from the place of work;
• extract of the minutes of the academic council of one's organization.

Training on the post-graduate course and the course for getting a Doctor's degree is realized at the expense of:

 - resources of State budget of Ukraine on government;

- funds of juridical and natural persons  - on conditions of contract.

The receiving of documents and consultations are carried out every Tuesday and Thursday in the room 516 of the laboratory block 1 from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.
  Entering the post-graduate studentship and course for getting a Doctor's degree the Institute provides with  the highly professional supervisors, consultants in accordance with the selected speciality and also with preparing school to help in passing minimum requirements for a DhP degree in foreign language, philosophy and specialty, as well. 

     The Specialized Academic Counsil D 26.204.01 with defence a thesis for graduate academic degree of doctor or candidate (PhD) of  technical sciences in three specialities (01.05.03, 05.13.06, 05.13.23) is working in the institute. Members of  Specialized Academic Counsil are employees of IPMMS NAS of Ukraine and high educational institutions of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

    One doktorate thesis (speciality 05.13.06) and 6 PhD thesis (specialities: 1 - 01.05.03, 4 - 05.13.06, 1 - 05.13.23) were defended іn 2006.
