The method of finding the location of distant connections in neural associative networks with Small-World architecture / Dekhtyarenko O.K. // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2005. – N. 2. – P. 25 – 32.
It is known that sparse associative neural network with a small-world architecture offers better associative recall quality than the neural network with the same amount of regularly located connections. Meanwhile the small-world architecture preserves such attractive features of regular topology as local connectivity and small total connection length. In this paper we propose the modified approach for the construction of small-world architecture, which takes into account some peculiarities of the neural associative memories thus providing the further improvement of its properties. Neural calibration of binocular system with essential distortion / Kireev O.S. // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2005. – N 2. – P. 33 – 44.
Neural networks applicability to the task of essentially distorted stereopair calibration is demonstrated. Neurocalibration robustness to the noise in calibration data is justified. Analytical calibration methods are compared with different neurocalibration ones, which differ in number of hidden layers, activation function, preprocessor usage and number of neural modules. Optimal neural networks architectures for the task of neurocalibration are obtained. Practical recommendations for binocular systems calibration procedure are formulated. Original software complex in Matlab language is developed for synthetic data generation and calibration results processing. Tabl.: 4. Figs.: 7. Refs.: 6 titles.

About the properties of cycles in modular neural networks / Kussul M.E., Galinskaya A.O. // Mathematical Machines and Systems. –2005. – N 2. – P. 54 – 62.
Modular neural networks are widely used to solve applied problems because of their flexibility and huge potential abilities. As a result, development of modeling aids for modular neural networks become very important. Networks that contain cycles are of particular interest. But for the networks with cycles there is the necessity to have tools for formal analysis, which allow to define the sequence of run of modules in the networks. The article is devoted to theoretical investigations of features of cycles in modular networks that are represented with directed graphs. Figs.: 2. Refs.: 5 titles.

Metrics and norms in hierarchy of categorial semanticses and functions / Tesler G.S. // Mathematical Machines and Systems. – 2005. – N 2. – P. 63 – 75.
In the paper the meanings of metrises and norms in the hierarchy of the categoriсal semanticses and functions are discussed. These notions are discussed more detaily in mathematics, including the theory of approximation of functions, theory of probality and so on. For practical approximations using these notions in the theory of graphs generally and for trees in particular is the adequate approach. In the paper only first steps in the decision of this important for theory and practice problem are being done. Fig.: 1. Refs.: 16 titles.

Information support of these processes is provided by independent (on profile activity) operations and procedures of forming “history of activity” in the form of Data Storage (DS) of information rollings. On the bases of the analysis DS the possible schemes of the inductive conclusion, forming new functional dependences between parameters-indices are proposed as necessary stage of preparing and planning of reengineering.
