To improve the scientific level of publications and design quality of the journal the Editorial Board introduces new rules for the preparation, execution and review materials from 2011.
Requirements for preparation, execution and review of Typescripts
1. The journal publishes scientific and scientifically-technical articles, reports on meetings and conferences, reviews of books, as well as materials of problem and discussion character.
2. Language of publication is Ukrainian, Russian and English.
3. Contents materials sent to the editor must meet the profile and level of scientific journal. Subject of the magazine is shown on the second page of each issue and online-page of the magazine.
4. The journal publishes only works that:
- not published previously;
- not under consideration for publication in other journals;
- approved by all authors;
- approved by the company or organization, where they were performed.
5. It is necessary to represent an article together with the paper:
- covering letter;
- examination report in duplicate;
- third party review;
- manuscript in duplicate;
- information about author(s);
- photo(s) of author(s);
- agreement of authors to publication of the manuscript.
In addition, materials, information about authors and their photos please send an e-mail to the editorial office.
6. A typescript should be carefully read. At the end of the text will require a signature of all authors under the phrase: "Article has not been published previously".
7. Each article should have an introduction, sections of the main part and conclusion(s) (or resolution part) as well as abstract and key words in three languages (Ukrainian, Russian and English).
8.Volume of a typescript with drawings should not exceed 12 pages (with the exception of review and total articles which number of pages is limited 20). Area of images should not take more than half of the manuscript.
9. Typescripts design of which does not meet the established requirements are rejected without consideration.
10. All submitted typescripts will undergo the editor criticizing by the Editorial Board members.
Materials are estimated on the following criteria:
- topicality;
- novelty;
- scientific level;
- practical (theoretical) importance;
- quality of the material presentation.
If total score is less than the specified threshold, the typescript is rejected.
11. Typescripts, that have been recommended to print by the reviewers, will be published in order prescribed by the Editorial Board.
12. Authors who have submitted to the editorial copy of the receipt of an individual subscription to the magazine (the magazine index is 37 787), have an extraordinary right to publish their typescripts (if the material has successfully passed the review).
13. Disputes concerning the publication of articles, whose authors do not agree with the decision of the reviewers, will be considered at the Editorial Board meetings. The decision of the Editorial Board is final.
14. Typescripts are not returned to the author(s).
Requirements to the text file
1. At the beginning of the article you should specify the UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) index.
2. Text is typed with Times New Roman, the interval 1. The size of the surname of the author(s), article title - 12 pt by capital letters; for the main text, headings, and subheadings - 12 pt by lower case letters; a list of references - 11 pt.
3. Set the page settings as follows: top and bottom margins - 2.5 cm, left and right - 2,2 cm, paper size - A 4.
4. Tables and drawings made in Word must be located directly in the text. The drawings should be grouped.
5. Each table and each drawing should have a number and a title.
6. Formulas which are in the text (under the formula we mean any expression with indexes or/and symbols) are typed in the formula editor - Microsoft Equation 2.0, 3.0.
7. Formulas must be printed clearly with good visibility of codes and their belonging. Numbering formulas in the article is continuous. You should not number the formulas separately for each section of the article.
8. References to literature should be numbered consecutively (in square brackets) in the article text in order of their mention. References must be drawn up in accordance with the formula 23 of the Ukrainian HAC (Higher Attestation Commission) Bulletin #5, 2009.
Typescript received to the editorial with violation of the above requirements shall not be considered and returned to the author(s) for revision.
